CALGARY, AB: The Western Canadian Wheat Growers Association congratulates Richard Phillips on his appointment as President of the Canada Grains Council. The Wheat Growers also wish to acknowledge his significant contributions to the Grain Growers of Canada over the past six years.
“Richard has helped build the Grain Growers into a powerful voice on behalf of Canadian grain farmers,” says Levi Wood, President of the Wheat Growers. “His skills and experience will be a valuable asset in his new role with the Canada Grains Council.”
In the past six years, Richard has increased the membership and influence of the Grain Growers of Canada. GGC is recognized as a leading voice in the farm community, as a strong advocate for research, science, trade and open markets.
