CALGARY, AB: The Western Canadian Wheat Growers would like to offer their congratulations to the Hon. Gerry Ritz upon his induction into the Canadian Ag Hall of Fame.
“Gerry is a fellow farmer and former politician who understands the agricultural issues personally and nationally. The Wheat Growers enjoyed working with him throughout his 20-year political tenure. We fully supported his nomination and are very pleased that the Canadian Ag Hall of Fame has taken this step”, stated Levi Wood, President.
Along with Ritz, fellow inductees include Ted Bilyea, Peter Dhillon, Wilf Keller and Larry Martin. All inductees are worthy for their outstanding contributions to the ag industry over the past several decades.
