CALGARY, AB: The Board of Directors of the Western Canadian Wheat Growers Association is pleased to congratulate Devin Dreeshen upon his election as a MLA for the Alberta riding of Innisfail – Sylvan Lake. Devin has been on the Wheat Growers Board of Directors since 2016.
“Devin will be missed by the Board, however, he will be a great representative for his constituents in the Alberta Legislature”, said Levi Wood, President. “As a Wheat Growers Director, Devin has participated in the many policy and advocacy issues that we have worked on.”
The Wheat Growers has been a training ground for several elected or senior government officials, including Ted Menzies, Randy Hoback, Larry McGuire and Alanna Koch. This is a strong indication of their interest, advocacy, passion and desire to work on behalf of others.
“We wish Devin all the very best. As a fellow Director from Alberta, I support his desire to represent his constituents and wish him all the best,” said Matt Sawyer, Director.
