Manitoba budget contains multimillion-dollar conservation trust

Western wheat growers group blasts Budget 2018

The 370-page document makes hardly any mention of the farming and food sectors – and that isn’t sitting well with at least one Canadian farm group. In a statement Tuesday, the Western Canadian Wheat Growers Association said it was “appalled” by the fact the budget “contained nothing for agriculture.”
