CALGARY, AB: The Western Canadian Wheat Growers are pleased to launch their 50th Anniversary Book, “Warriors For Wheat”. Founded in 1970, the Wheat Growers have been actively engaged in agriculture policy at both the federal and provincial levels of government and instrumental in several significant policy changes.
The book was originally scheduled to be released at the 50th Anniversary Convention, however, due to COVID-19 the convention has been postponed until November 24/25, 2020. In true Wheat Grower fashion, we found a solution to an unexpected problem.
The “Warriors For Wheat” information page is available here. This page provides video interviews with the Project Director – Clayton Kotylak, Author – Suzanne Paschall and Editor – Alanna Koch as well as quotes, pictures and purchase information.
“I am very proud of the way the team worked on this project and the final result. “Warriors For Wheat” is a great celebration of the Wheat Growers 50th Anniversary and I know that everyone involved in the grain industry will enjoy reading this book,” said Clayton Kotylak, Project Director.
