Kaitlyn Kitzan

Kaitlyn grew up on a mixed farm in east central Saskatchewan and is still active on the family farm. She is in her fourth year of Agri-business at the University of Saskatchewan. During the school year, she is the social media and student ambassador for the College of Agriculture and Bio-resources as well as Vice President of the Ag Bizz Club, U of S Canadian Agriculture Marketing Association member and President of the Saskatchewan Party Youth.

Kaitlyn has spent the last three summers working for the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture. She also serves as an Associate Director on the Yorkton Exhibition Board and Saskatchewan Young Ag-Entrepreneur Board.

She had the privilege to attend a Junior Team Canada Mission to China in 2016 and to Peru in 2019 focusing on free trade for Canadian agricultural products. She represented Canadian agriculture in Des Moines, Iowa for the World Food Prize, traveled to Ecuador for a Me to We trip and El Salvador for a Global Citizenship experience.

Kaitlyn was honoured to receive the Young Women of Distinction award in Saskatchewan.
