Kaitlyn Kitzan

Kaitlyn grew up on a mixed farm in east central Saskatchewan and is still active on the family farm. In the spring of 2020, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Agri-business at the University of Saskatchewan.

Kaitlyn serves as an Associate Director on the Yorkton Exhibition Board, Director on the Saskatchewan Young Ag-Entrepreneur Board, Cofounder and Strategic Development Director of Sask Girls United, and President of the Saskatchewan Party Youth.

She had the privilege to attend a Junior Team Canada Mission to China in 2016 and to Peru in 2019 focusing on free trade for Canadian agricultural products. She represented Canadian agriculture in Des Moines, Iowa for the World Food Prize, travelled to Ecuador for a Me to We trip and El Salvador for a Global Citizenship experience. In the Winter of 2020, she travelled to India with the Canadian Foodgrains Bank on a Food Security Learning Tour.

Kaitlyn was honoured to receive the Young Women of Distinction award in Saskatchewan.

You can find her working on the family farm, volunteering within the community, or advocating for agriculture.
