Choosing Regina in the heart of a bitter cold January may seem unusual, but our decision was grounded in a commitment to the well-being of our non-profit association and the valued farmers who make it what it is. While we explored warmer and more entertaining options, we couldn’t ignore the current circumstances and chose to be financially prudent. A challenging harvest for many, rising travel costs, a weaker dollar, and high inflation rates were undeniable factors. By keeping Convention close to home, we’re not only preserving resources but also ensuring the event remains accessible to all, fostering the strength of our farming community.

What’s Happening
A general itinerary is below. More details regarding times and speakers will be provided once confirmed.
Day 1: January 25th – AGM & Casino Royale
We kick things off with our Annual General Meeting (AGM); it’s your chance to be part of the conversation and help shape the future of our farming community.
After the AGM, the real fun starts with Casino Royale – an evening of games, grub, and good times. Test your luck at the card tables, enjoy a complimentary bar, and savour some delicious food.
Day 2: January 26th – Speaker Sessions
On the second day compelling guest speakers will share their wisdom and insights. The morning will begin with a hearty breakfast and as the day unfolds, we’ve got you covered with a delicious lunch and morning and afternoon snacks to keep you energized and engaged. Convention will then wrap up with a lively auction.
