Levi is from Pense, Saskatchewan. With his family, they run a fifth generation farm, as well as operate aerial spraying and crop inputs businesses. He returned to farming in 2007 after previously working as a foreign exchange trader.
Levi has a commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan, completed in 2005. He also holds an MBA from UBC, which included a specialization in International Business at a Hong Kong University.
His Grandfather, John Wood, was one of the founding members of the Palliser Wheat Growers, forerunner to the Western Canadian Wheat Growers Association. Levi is committed to the aims of the Wheat Growers and looks forward to the continued opportunities in agriculture in western Canada.
Levi has been President of the Wheat Growers since March 2013, and serves as the Wheat Growers representative on the Canada Grains Council.
